how can I write a tutorial article if there is already a page by the same title that is not a tutorial

Unlock comps please. --Sevenoneone 22:20, 25 July 2007 (EST)

Silicon and Silicone are not the same thing. Silicon is a super-conducting element and has no apparent use in pyrotechnics. However Silicone II (General Electric Sealant) and is used in a Blue strobe RP composition and in a blue star composition along with an Oxidant (Ammonium and Potassium perchlorate), Copper (II) oxide and PVC. Now I don't know for sure, but I'm assuming that it's used as a fuel for the combustion...If somebody knows better, please shed some light. /djdoru

Paper?

There is no or only little info about paper products on pyroguide. Nor is there a category it will fit in. I think this may be more important than chemicals... Any ideas? --AdmiralDonSnider

Who suggested chloroform, i dont think that it would be appropriate because of the obvious non-pyrotechnical uses and if you did put it then you should leave out the sources and productions section but what is the point if you make an article but dont say how to obtain the chemical so to make things simple, i dont think that you should make the requested article. But it technically isn't poison it is just an anesthetic, so think about it... --I.see.fish

Chloroform hasn't been used as an anesthetic since about 1900. Today though it is a very important chemical both as a solvent and as a precursor to teflon. Jamamee

Benzolift and similar things

Can anyone please take the time and explain what "Benzolift" is and why it should be added to our database. Unless I´m very much mistaken an existing article of the same name has been deleted. Hopefully this isn´t again another dubious composition reclining to "McGyver and Friends"...
